Origin Story
春秋时期,楚国有个叫叶公的人,特别喜欢龙。他家里到处都是龙的图案,墙壁上画着龙,柱子上刻着龙,就连衣服上也绣着龙。有一天,一条真龙听说叶公爱龙,就来到叶公家。叶公一看到真龙,吓得魂飞魄散,拔腿就跑。原来,叶公喜欢的只是龙的形象,而不是真正的龙。
During the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a man named Ye Gong in the state of Chu who loved dragons very much. His house was full of dragon patterns, dragons were painted on the walls, carved on the pillars, and even embroidered on his clothes. One day, a real dragon heard that Ye Gong loved dragons, so it came to Ye Gong's house. When Ye Gong saw the real dragon, he was so frightened that he ran away. It turned out that Ye Gong only liked the image of the dragon, not the real dragon.
