Long ago, in a remote mountain village, there lived a kind farmer named Li Dazhuang. He was diligent and honest, working from sunrise to sunset, yet he lived in poverty. One day, a Taoist priest passing by his house, seeing his kindness, gave him a jade pendant inscribed with the words "吉星高照", and told him that as long as he kept a good heart, good fortune would shine upon him. Li Dazhuang treasured the pendant and constantly reminded himself to do good deeds. Afterwards, he helped the villagers with many good deeds, and his life improved day by day. The harvest was bountiful, and his family became increasingly prosperous. The villagers said that he was blessed by good fortune and had good luck. Li Dazhuang's story was widely circulated in the village and became a topic of conversation after meals.
