汉朝开国皇帝刘邦，在统一中国后，命相国萧何在长安建造新的皇宫。然而，刘邦对金碧辉煌的皇宫并不满意，认为过于奢侈。萧何解释道：“陛下以四海为家，如今拥有了雄伟的皇宫，才能让天下臣服，更显您是真命天子！”刘邦这才释然。他明白，只有拥有强大气魄，才能征服四方，四海才是真正的家。
Liu Bang, the founding emperor of the Han Dynasty, ordered his Prime Minister, Xiao He, to build a new palace in Chang'an after unifying China. However, Liu Bang was not satisfied with the magnificent palace, considering it too luxurious. Xiao He explained: “Your Majesty, with the whole world as your home, now that you have a majestic palace, you can subdue the world and show that you are the true Son of Heaven!” Liu Bang was relieved. He understood that only with a strong spirit can the world be conquered and the whole world is the true home.
