Origin Story
During the Spring and Autumn period, the famous thinker Confucius greatly admired his student Yan Hui. Yan Hui lived simply, and even under poor living conditions, he always maintained an optimistic and calm state of mind. Once, Yan Hui's residence was very simple, with only a bed and a meditation cushion, and his diet was extremely simple, yet he could live contentedly in poverty and remain calm. Confucius, upon learning of this, praised: "Hui, unbothered by poverty, not worried by adversity, not proud of wealth, calm and composed, his way is great!"
