When Li Shizhen, an old Chinese physician, was young, he traveled to mountains and rivers to collect various medicinal herbs for writing the Compendium of Materia Medica. Once, he got lost in the deep mountains and walked for several days. He was hungry and thirsty, and because of excessive fatigue, he felt dizzy and lightheaded and could hardly stand. He leaned against a big tree, closed his eyes and rested for a while, and suddenly smelled a fragrance. He followed the scent and found a cave, filled with various herbs. He picked some herbs and brewed a bowl of medicine to drink, and soon regained his energy, continuing his journey of collecting herbs.
