Origin Story
In the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, who was extremely talented, but somewhat arrogant and often boasted. Once, while drinking with friends, Li Bai excitedly and endlessly talked about his extraordinary talent, how he was appreciated by the emperor, and his future aspirations. His friends listened with great interest, but one of them secretly shook his head. After a few rounds of drinking, this friend could not help but say: "Brother Li, your words are indeed wonderful, but some of them are a bit exaggerated." Li Bai didn't care and continued to boast, ignoring his friend's advice. Later, Li Bai was demoted and even exiled for offending powerful figures. He then understood that boasting and lacking practical action prevented him from achieving great things. He began to reflect on his behavior and gradually changed his speaking style, becoming more modest and cautious.
