In the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai, who loved reading since childhood, especially classic works such as the Book of Songs and the Chu Ci. The poetry contest began. With full confidence, Li Bai went on stage. His poems were not only full of talent but also powerfully argued with evidence from classic texts. He cited famous lines from the Book of Songs and wonderful passages from the Chu Ci; the judges were fascinated. Finally, due to his solid literary foundation and impressive performance, Li Bai won first place. From then on, Li Bai became famous, and his story has become a model for future generations.
