Origin Story
During the Spring and Autumn period, King Zhuang of Chu attacked Zheng. To save his country, Duke Xiang of Zheng personally went out of the city to greet King Zhuang of Chu. He assured King Zhuang of Chu that he was willing to give everything of Zheng to King Zhuang of Chu, whether land, people or wealth; he would obey his command. King Zhuang of Chu was moved by Duke Xiang of Zheng's sincerity, and finally decided to withdraw his troops and conclude a treaty with Zheng, avoiding a larger war.
