Once upon a time, in a remote mountain village, there lived a farmer named Li Dazhuang. He was an upright, stubborn man who always did things his own way. The villagers said he was obstinate and unwilling to cooperate with others. One year, the village decided to cultivate a new field, which required everyone's concerted efforts. The village head called a meeting to explain the plan and the division of labor in detail. However, Li Dazhuang remained silent throughout, believing that he was experienced enough and did not need to follow others' arrangements. The cultivation work began, and everyone proceeded in an orderly manner according to the village head's plan. Li Dazhuang, however, worked alone, following his own methods. He toiled from early morning to late at night, but because his methods were wrong, his harvest was poor. At harvest time, the other villagers had a good harvest, while Li Dazhuang's field was empty. At this point, he realized that blindly sticking to his own way and not listening to others' advice would ultimately harm him. He apologized to the village head and his fellow villagers, and expressed his willingness to humbly learn and cooperate with others in the future.
