During the Chu-Han contention, Han Xin defected to Liu Bang and repeatedly achieved great feats. Liu Bang trusted him implicitly and often adopted his suggestions, which enabled Han Xin to strategize effectively and secure major victories on the battlefield. Once, Xiang Yu sent emissaries to persuade Han Xin to defect, offering him high rank and riches. However, Han Xin remained unmoved, declaring, 'Liu Bang heeds my counsel and acts accordingly, how can I betray him?' In the end, Han Xin helped Liu Bang to win the Chu-Han war.
