During the Spring and Autumn period, there was a famous prime minister in the state of Qi named Yan Ying. He made many contributions to Qi and was deeply trusted and loved by Duke Jing of Qi. Yan Ying was humble and never arrogant. Once, Yan Ying was traveling by carriage, but his charioteer felt very proud because he was driving for Yan Ying, and even became somewhat arrogant. The charioteer's wife, seeing her husband's haughty attitude, advised her husband to learn from Yan Ying and to be humble and cautious. After listening to his wife's advice, the charioteer began to pay attention to his words and actions and became more humble. When Yan Ying learned about this, he expressed his affirmation and appreciation for the charioteer's ability to admit his mistakes and change. This story teaches us that even if we have achieved great success, we should not be proud or arrogant, and we should always maintain a humble and cautious attitude.
