Origin Story
At the end of the Qin Dynasty, Xiang Yu and his uncle Xiang Liang launched a rebellion against the Qin. After an initial victory, their reputation grew. Later, the Chu king appointed Song Yi as the supreme commander and Xiang Yu as his deputy, leading an army north to rescue Zhao, who was besieged by Qin forces. Song Yi reached Anyang, but hesitated to advance, leading to the near destruction of Zhao. Xiang Yu, unable to bear it any longer, tried unsuccessfully to persuade Song Yi to attack and eventually killed him. Xiang Yu declared himself the supreme commander, leading his army to a decisive victory over the Qin forces and saving the Chu army from defeat. Xiang Yu, fully armed and incredibly brave, was unstoppable on the battlefield, demonstrating extraordinary military prowess and courage, ultimately earning him the title of a powerful ruler. This historical story not only depicts Xiang Yu's bravery and military talent but also highlights his sense of responsibility and courage to challenge. This is a true reflection of the idiom "披坚执锐".
