从前，在一个偏僻的小山村里，住着一位心地善良的老爷爷。他一辈子乐善好施，总是尽己所能帮助村里的人排忧解难。有一天，村里突发山洪，许多房屋被冲毁，村民们都惊慌失措。老爷爷不顾个人安危，带领村民们转移到安全地带，并组织大家救助被困人员。洪水退去后，他四处奔走，为村民们筹集粮食和衣物，帮助他们重建家园。老爷爷的善举感动了全村人，大家都称赞他是一位真正的活菩萨。这个故事告诉我们，帮助别人排忧解难，不仅能给他人带来希望，也能给自己带来快乐和满足。
Once upon a time, in a remote mountain village, there lived a kind old grandfather. He spent his whole life doing good deeds and always did his best to help the villagers solve their problems and relieve their worries. One day, a sudden flood hit the village, destroying many houses and causing panic among the villagers. The old man, without regard for his own safety, led the villagers to safety and organized the rescue of trapped people. After the flood receded, he went everywhere to collect food and clothing for the villagers and helped them rebuild their homes. The old man's good deeds touched the whole village, and everyone praised him as a true living Bodhisattva. This story tells us that helping others solve their problems and relieve their worries not only brings hope to others but also brings joy and satisfaction to ourselves.
