Origin Story
话说唐朝时期,有一个贪官叫李员外,他鱼肉百姓,搜刮民脂民膏,积累了大量的财富。为了防止被朝廷查办,他经常贿赂官员,甚至还雇佣了一批武林高手保护自己。但是,纸终究包不住火,有一天,朝廷派来了一位铁面无私的御史,要查办李员外的贪污案。李员外听到这个消息后,吓得魂飞魄散,他立刻准备逃走。他带上所有的钱财,骑上快马,准备逃往边疆。然而,就在他逃亡的路上,他发现官兵已经布下了天罗地网,插翅难逃。最终,李员外被抓捕归案,受到了应有的惩罚。
In the Tang Dynasty, there was a corrupt official named Li Yuanwai, who exploited the people and amassed a vast fortune. To prevent investigation by the court, he regularly bribed officials and even hired a group of martial arts experts to protect himself. But eventually, the truth came out. One day, the court sent an incorruptible judge to investigate Li Yuanwai's corruption case. When Li Yuanwai heard this news, he panicked. He took all his money, rode his fastest horse, and planned to flee to the border. On his escape, however, he found that the soldiers had already laid a net from which he could not escape. Eventually, Li Yuanwai was arrested and punished.
