贾宝玉最喜欢的丫鬟小红，为了讨好宝玉，总是想方设法地在他身边伺候。一次，宝玉回来后，想喝茶洗澡。小红连忙准备，这时，秋纹和碧痕提着水嬉笑着进来，打断了小红献殷勤的机会。宝玉并没有注意到小红，这让小红心里很失落。后来，袭人叫小红去潇湘馆取喷壶，小红本想再表现一下自己，但是想到刚才的失落，她觉得一切都无所谓了，于是无精打采地去了。她慢吞吞地走到潇湘馆，取了喷壶，垂头丧气地回来，连平时她最喜欢的那些小玩意儿都没心思去看。她回到房间，默默地躺着，心里充满了失落和无力感。她不明白为什么自己的努力总是得不到认可，这种感觉让她感到疲惫和沮丧。她默默地想着，也许自己并不适合在宝玉身边伺候，也许自己应该寻找另外一条路。

She went back to her room and lay down silently, filled with disappointment and helplessness. She didn't understand why her efforts were always ignored.This feeling made her tired and frustrated. She thought silently, perhaps she was not suitable to serve Baoyu, perhaps she should find another path.
