Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a peddler who carried a load of fresh fruit to the market to sell. Because the fruit was fresh, he asked for an exorbitant price, but no one wanted to buy it. As the sun was setting and the fruit was about to rot, the peddler became very anxious. At that moment, an old gentleman came and asked him, "Young man, how do you sell your fruit?" The peddler originally wanted to ask for an exorbitant price, but seeing the kind face of the old gentleman, he hesitated for a moment, and then gave a relatively reasonable price. The old gentleman was very satisfied and bought all the peddler's fruit. Although the peddler did not make a lot of money, he finally sold his fruit and avoided losses. He realized that honest trading is the way to go, and asking for an exorbitant price will only backfire.
