Origin Story
At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Huang Chao's rebel army captured Chang'an. The people were displaced, and everywhere there were corpses, a horrifying sight. A young scholar named Li Bai witnessed this tragedy and wrote the famous poem "Chang Hen Ge", expressing in poignant language his deep sympathy for the suffering of the people. In one verse, he vividly depicted the cruelty of the war and the suffering of the people - a sight that was unbearable to witness. Later, Li Bai left Chang'an and traveled through various kingdoms, witnessing wars and the suffering of the people, which further deepened his sympathy and care for them. He continued to write poetry, using his poems to awaken people's conscience and call for peace. His poems also became an important source for later generations to understand the history of the late Tang Dynasty.
