One day, he accidentally discovered an ancient book in a temple that recorded many stories of Tang Dynasty hermits. He was overjoyed and read it with great eagerness. The book described how these hermits lived in the mountains, how they kept themselves away from the world, and how they used their wisdom and abilities to benefit the people. Li Bai was captivated and felt as if he was immersed in the lives of these hermits. However, he knew that his talent extended far beyond this. He hoped that one day he could return to the court and serve the country. Therefore, he began to think seriously about his future, to organize his poems, and to plan his career. He found that there were many problems to solve in order to achieve his ambitions—it was a real tangle. He needed to reassess his situation, adjust his mindset, and look for new opportunities. But Li Bai was not discouraged by the difficulties. He believed that if he persisted in his efforts, he would surely overcome these difficulties and eventually realize his ideals.
