Once upon a time, there was a scholar who was very diligent. In order to pass the imperial examinations, he studied day and night, even forgetting to eat and sleep. One day, a friend came to visit him and advised him to pay attention to his health and not to overwork. However, the scholar said, "The imperial examinations concern my future and destiny; I can put other things aside." The friend shook his head helplessly and left. Later, the scholar successfully passed the examinations and became a successful official, but due to constant lack of sleep, his health became very poor. Many years later, he recalled his friend's advice and deeply regretted it. Although he had achieved success, he also paid a great price for it. This story teaches us that we should not only consider short-term benefits but also health and interpersonal relationships in everything we do.
