Origin Story

In an ancient water town in southern China, there was a beautiful lotus pond. The pond had many kinds of lotus flowers, red, white, and pink, blooming in competition, beautiful and breathtaking. However, many weeds grew on the edge of the pond, competing with the lotus flowers for sunlight and nutrients, affecting their growth. An old gardener saw this and did not rush to remove the weeds but patiently observed. He found that although these weeds grew rapidly, they had relatively weak vitality. The lotus flowers, however, had well-developed root systems and strong vitality. Thus, the old gardener no longer intervened, leaving them to their own devices. After a few years, the weeds in the lotus pond gradually withered, while the lotus flowers grew even more lush and bloomed even more brilliantly. This is the law of nature, survival of the fittest, natural selection.
