Origin Story
During the Song Dynasty, a traveler stayed at an inn. In the middle of the night, he heard crying coming from the pigsty, which he found strange. The next day, he asked the innkeeper, Jiang Qi, about it. Jiang Qi said indifferently, "What's so unusual about that? The old sow has cried several times, saying that her grandmother told her in a dream that she would reincarnate as a pig." The traveler was skeptical and found it unbelievable. A few days later, Jiang Qi suddenly fell ill and suspected that the old sow was to blame, so he killed it. Not long after, Jiang Qi also died. This story teaches us that when faced with strange events, it is important to remain calm and objective, and not to easily believe rumors or superstitions, in order to avoid unnecessary trouble or loss.
