Origin Story
Li Bai, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, was known for his unrestrained spirit and love of travel. One day, he journeyed to Mount Huangshan. The breathtaking scenery of bizarre pines, strange rocks, and swirling clouds captivated him. He climbed perilous peaks, explored hidden valleys, feeling as if he were in a fairyland. He touched the rough bark of ancient pines, felt the refreshing mountain breeze, and listened to the gentle murmur of mountain streams. Before him was the ever-changing sea of clouds, beneath him were steep cliffs. He felt as if he had transformed into a mountain spirit, one with all of nature. As the sun set, he stood atop the mountain, gazing into the distance. His heart filled with passion, he wrote the timeless masterpiece, "Looking at the Lushan Waterfall.". This poem not only showcases the majestic natural landscape of Mount Huangshan, but also expresses the poet's heartfelt emotions felt at the moment.
