Origin Story
On the ancient Silk Road, two majestic cities stood opposite each other, separated by vast deserts and towering mountains. One was the prosperous Dunhuang, the other the mysterious Loulan. Although geographically distant, they were both important hubs on the Silk Road, witnessing the exchange and fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The murals of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang and the exquisite artifacts unearthed in Loulan both tell, in their own unique way, the story of this millennium-long history. They stand opposite each other, as if in silent conversation, together guarding the ancient legend of the Silk Road.
