Explanation

形容生活艰难,四处流浪。由于灾荒或战乱而流转离散。颠沛:跌倒,比喻穷困,受挫折;流离:浪落。

Describes a life of hardship and constant wandering. Caused by famine or war, displaced people who scatter. 颠沛 (diān pèi): To fall, figuratively poverty and setbacks; 流离 (liú lí): To wander, roam.
