During the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai, known for his exceptional talent. However, he offended powerful officials and was falsely accused of treason. Imprisoned and tortured, he maintained his innocence, but the evidence seemed overwhelming, leading to a death sentence. Before his execution, Li Bai wrote a death poem expressing his anguish. The poem was full of grief and sorrow, moving even the executioners. On the day of the execution, an elderly censor passing by overheard Li Bai's poem and found something suspicious. He launched an investigation, discovering that the officials had fabricated evidence to frame Li Bai. The censor reported to the emperor, who, enraged, ordered a thorough inquiry. Li Bai's innocence was eventually proven, and those who had falsely accused him were punished. Although spared, Li Bai carried the burden of this injustice, suffering significant physical and emotional trauma.
