Once upon a time, there was a scholar named Li Cheng, who came from a poor family but was diligent and studious, and he wanted to pursue a career in the civil service. He went to the capital to take the exams, and on the way, he met a rich young master named Wang Yuan. Wang Yuan was a generous man and very kind to Li Cheng. The two traveled together and helped each other. Arriving in the capital, Wang Yuan arranged for Li Cheng to stay in a guest room in his house, provided him with food and accommodation, and helped him with everything. Li Cheng was very grateful to Wang Yuan and thought that he must repay him one day. When the examination results came out, Li Cheng passed the examination with flying colors and became the most famous scholar in the country. Wang Yuan heard about it and immediately went to congratulate him and hoped that Li Cheng could get him a position. But now that Li Cheng was successful, he also had higher aspirations, and he no longer cared much for Wang Yuan. He ignored Wang Yuan and had no further dealings with him. When Wang Yuan left, Li Cheng did not even see him off. Wang Yuan was very disappointed, and he experienced the coldness and warmth of human relations firsthand. He left the capital silently and had nothing more to do with Li Cheng from then on.
