话说唐朝时期，有个名叫李白的诗人，才华横溢，诗作被世人传颂。一日，李白与友人郊游，途遇一农夫，衣衫褴褛，正在田间辛勤劳作。李白见此，心生怜悯，便上前询问。农夫诉说自己家中贫困，生活艰难，每日只能靠勉强耕作糊口。李白听后，不禁感叹道：『如此艰辛，何足道哉！』友人不解，问道：『此话怎讲？难道农夫的劳作不值得称赞吗？』李白解释道：『我并非轻视农夫的辛劳，而是想说，他们的辛劳，在国家大事面前，实在微不足道。而真正能改变百姓生活，造福社稷的，是那些为国为民建功立业的志士仁人。他们的功绩，才真正值得赞扬！』友人听后，恍然大悟。

After hearing this, Li Bai sighed, "Such hardship, what is it worth mentioning?" His friend was puzzled and asked, "What do you mean? Isn't the farmer's labor worthy of praise?" Li Bai explained, "I am not belittling the farmer's hard work, but rather I want to say that their toil is insignificant when compared to the grand affairs of the state. It is the ambitious and virtuous individuals who serve the country and the people who can truly improve people's lives and benefit society. Their achievements are what truly deserve praise!" The friend understood upon hearing this.
