In the late Northern Wei Dynasty, the country was divided into Western Wei and Eastern Wei. Gao Huan, the powerful minister of Eastern Wei, always appreciated an official named Cui Xian, who was known for his integrity and honesty. Cui Xian dared to speak out openly, impeaching corrupt officials, and was highly valued by Gao Huan. Once, when Gao Huan was fighting against Western Wei, he personally went to the battlefield, leading the charge, commanding the troops calmly, and ultimately winning the battle. After the war, Gao Huan said to Cui Xian: "You usually dare to speak out and make suggestions, just like you are charging into battle at the front lines, loyal to your country.
