During the Western Han Dynasty, Kuang Heng was poor, but he loved learning very much. In order to read, he did everything he could to solve the lighting problem. During the day, he worked for others, and in the evening, because he had no money to buy lamp oil, he used a small knife to drill a hole in the wall and borrowed the light from his neighbors. He often studied until late at night, even in winter, he never gave up. Later, Kuang Heng, through his efforts and perseverance, eventually became a famous scholar, and held the position of Tai Zi Shao Fu during the reign of Emperor Yuan of Han. His story has inspired generations and become a role model for many.
