Origin Story
Chen Ziang, a Tang Dynasty poet, was talented but unlucky and had a bumpy career path. One day, he climbed the Youzhou Terrace, looked into the distance, and felt countless emotions. As far as the eye could see, he saw the vast land and historical clouds drifting before his eyes, as if he saw countless ancient people, leaving a string of brilliant footprints in the long river of history, and also leaving moving chapters. However, these ancient people have long gone, and their achievements have become the dust of history. Chen Ziang could not help but feel sad and wrote the famous poem "Ode to the Youzhou Terrace": "Before me, I saw no ancient people, after me, I saw no comers. Thinking of the vastness of heaven and earth, I feel alone and shed tears!" This poem expresses the poet's grief over his unfulfilled ambitions, and also expresses his deep thoughts on history. Chen Ziang's poetry has also become a model for future generations to learn from; his poetry and spirit will forever live on.
