Origin Story
战国时期，齐国名将田忌与魏国名将庞涓多次交战，屡战屡败。孙膑向田忌献计，利用魏军骄横轻敌的心理，使用减灶计，制造齐军溃败的假象，诱使庞涓轻敌冒进，最终设下埋伏，大败魏军，一举扭转了战局。孙膑巧妙地运用了“因势利导”的策略，利用敌人的弱点，以虚为实，以退为进，最终取得了决定性的胜利。这便是历史上著名的“围魏救赵”战役中的精彩一笔。孙膑利用庞涓的轻敌和急躁，将之引诱到自己设下的陷阱中，这正是“因势利导”的完美体现。
During the Warring States period, Tian Ji, a famous general of Qi, fought against Pang Juan, a famous general of Wei, many times and repeatedly lost. Sun Bin offered a plan to Tian Ji, making use of the arrogant and reckless psychology of the Wei army. He used the strategy of “reducing the cooking fires”, creating a false appearance of the Qi army’s defeat, luring Pang Juan into reckless advances, finally setting up an ambush, and defeating the Wei army, reversing the situation in one stroke. Sun Bin cleverly used the strategy of “taking advantage of the situation”, using the enemy's weakness, feigning reality with falsehood, retreating to advance, and finally achieving a decisive victory. This is a brilliant stroke in the famous historical “Siege of Wei to save Zhao” campaign. Sun Bin used Pang Juan’s arrogance and impatience, luring him into the trap he had set – a perfect demonstration of “taking advantage of the situation”.
