Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, there lived an old Chinese doctor and his granddaughter. The old doctor was known for his superb medical skills. One day, a torrential rainstorm caused a flash flood, destroying many houses in the village, and people were running for their lives. The old doctor and his granddaughter were also trapped in their home, with floodwaters rapidly rising and threatening to engulf the house. The granddaughter was terrified, but the old doctor remained calm. Using his years of experience, he found a higher ground, and with a few pieces of wood and rope, he built a simple escape platform.
