Explanation

恙:病。原指人平安没有疾病。现泛指事物平安未遭损害。

Origin Story

公元前266年,赵惠文王去世,太子丹继位即赵孝成王,由太后赵威后执政。秦国进攻赵国,赵威后把小儿子长安君送到齐国当人质换取齐国的军事援助。危机过后,齐王派使者到赵国。赵威后先问齐国收成,然后再问齐王的身体是否无恙。齐王听到赵威后的询问,感到十分温暖,他知道赵威后是关心他,担心他在赵国为质期间是否安然无恙,于是便回答说:“我一切都好,多谢你的关心。”赵威后听后,脸上露出了笑容,她知道,齐王是真心实意地关心着赵国,他们之间的关系是牢不可破的。

In 266 BC, Zhao Huaiwen Wang died, the Crown Prince Dan ascended the throne as Zhao Xiaocheng Wang, and the Empress Dowager Zhao Weihou ruled. The Qin state attacked the Zhao state, and Zhao Weihou sent her youngest son, Chang'an Jun, as a hostage to Qi in exchange for military aid from Qi. After the crisis, the King of Qi sent an envoy to the Zhao state. Zhao Weihou first asked about the harvest in Qi, and then asked if the King of Qi was well. The King of Qi felt very cared for when he heard Zhao Weihou's question.
