Origin Story
It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a talented scholar named Li Bai who met a poet named Du Fu. The two hit it off immediately and chatted animatedly. Their understanding of poetry, their insights into life, and their concerns about the country were surprisingly similar. They discussed the mood of poetry together and recited lines to each other that they both understood, as if they were mentally connected and could understand each other's thoughts without words. Later, they became lifelong friends and together wrote a brilliant chapter in Tang poetry. Their friendship is the best proof of their heart-to-heart connection. Their poems are still passed down to this day and are an example of this connection.
