话说汉朝时期,有个叫王成的年轻人,为人正直善良。一天,他在集市上行走时,无意中捡到一个装满金银财宝的布袋。他四处张望,希望能找到失主,却毫无线索。王成并没有贪图财物,而是将布袋带回家中,小心翼翼地保管起来。他四处打听,最终找到了失主,是一位名叫张家的富商。张家感激涕零,拿出重金酬谢王成,但王成坚决不受,只希望张家能妥善保管好财物。张家深受感动,将这件事广为传扬,王成拾金不昧的高尚品德也传为佳话,成为了人们学习的榜样。时光荏苒,王成的名声越来越大,最后被朝廷任命为地方官吏,为百姓做了不少好事。
It is said that during the Han Dynasty, there was a young man named Wang Cheng who was honest and kind. One day, while walking in the market, he accidentally picked up a bag full of gold and treasures. He looked around, hoping to find the owner, but to no avail. Wang Cheng did not covet the wealth, but took the bag home and carefully kept it. He inquired around and finally found the owner, a wealthy merchant named Zhang. Zhang was moved to tears and offered Wang Cheng a lot of money as a reward, but Wang Cheng resolutely refused, only hoping that Zhang would keep his belongings properly. Zhang was deeply touched and spread the story widely, and Wang Cheng's noble virtue of not concealing gold became a good story and an example for people to learn from. As time went on, Wang Cheng's reputation grew, and he was eventually appointed an official by the court and did many good deeds for the people.
