Explanation
昏：眼睛看不清楚；聩：耳朵听不清楚。眼花耳聋，没有能力。比喻头脑糊涂，没有能力，分不清是非。
Hūn: Eyes can't see clearly; kuì: Ears can't hear clearly. Eyes and ears are blurred, no ability. It is a metaphor for a muddled mind, no ability, can't distinguish right from wrong.

话说在一个古老的朝代，有一个昏庸的皇帝，他整日沉迷酒色，对国家大事漠不关心。朝中大臣们纷纷上奏，劝谏他励精图治，但他却置若罔闻，甚至将忠言逆耳的大臣贬职或流放。他的耳目被蒙蔽，看不到国家面临的危机，也听不到百姓的疾苦。百姓生活困苦不堪，国家也日渐衰弱。最终，这个昏聩无能的皇帝被推翻，王朝走向了灭亡。这正是昏聩无能的恶果，它不仅摧毁了一个人的前途，也毁了一个国家的命运。
In an ancient dynasty, there was a昏庸的皇帝(foolish emperor) who was addicted to wine and sex and indifferent to state affairs. Ministers repeatedly submitted memorials, advising him to govern with diligence, but he turned a deaf ear, even demoting or exiling ministers who spoke against him. His eyes and ears were blinded, he could not see the crisis facing the country, nor could he hear the suffering of the people. The people lived in misery, and the country gradually weakened. Finally, the incompetent emperor was overthrown, and the dynasty fell. This is the consequence of incompetence, which destroys not only a person's future but also the fate of a nation.
