Origin Story
话说汉朝时期,一位名叫李陵的将军率军抗击匈奴,兵败被俘。面对匈奴单于的劝降,李陵始终不屈,最终客死异乡。李陵虽战败被俘,但他始终坚守节操,不肯投降,为了保全自身尊严,宁愿客死异乡,最终死得其所,成为千古忠烈。虽然他军事上失败,但他死得其所,捍卫了国家的尊严,他的精神仍值得后人敬仰。
During the Han Dynasty, a general named Li Ling led his troops to fight against the Xiongnu, but was defeated and captured. Faced with the Xiongnu's surrender offer, Li Ling remained unyielding and eventually died in a foreign land. Although Li Ling was defeated and captured, he always upheld his integrity and refused to surrender. In order to preserve his own dignity, he preferred to die in a foreign land, and finally died a worthy death, becoming a loyal and noble man throughout the ages. Although he failed militarily, his worthy death defended the dignity of the country, and his spirit is still worthy of admiration by posterity.
