Origin Story
辛弃疾，字幼安，号稼轩，南宋时期著名的词人。他一生戎马倥偬，曾率兵抗击金兵，但屡遭排挤，未能实现北伐收复中原的理想。这首词，便是他仕途失意时的感慨。其中“千金曾买相如赋，脉脉此情谁诉？”一句，更是道出了他满腔爱国热情却难以倾诉的苦闷。他仿佛看到汉代司马相如为卓文君作赋，表达真挚爱情的场景，而自己却怀抱爱国之情，却无人能懂，这满腔的温情脉脉，也只有默默地独自承受。
Xin Qiji, whose courtesy name was You'an and literary name was Jiaxuan, was a famous poet during the Southern Song Dynasty. He spent his life in war and political struggles. He led troops against the Jin troops but repeatedly faced setbacks and couldn’t realize his dream of reclaiming the north. This poem expresses his feelings during that time. The line "千金曾买相如赋，脉脉此情谁诉？" reveals his great patriotic fervor, but he couldn’t express it. He seemed to envision the scene where Sima Xiangru of the Han Dynasty wrote a poem for Zhuo Wenjun to express his sincere love. Yet, while he possessed a patriotic heart, no one could understand, and so this deep warmth could only be carried silently by himself.
