小玲得到了一只精致的布娃娃，做工精细，颜色鲜艳，让她爱不释手。她每天晚上都抱着它睡觉，走到哪里都带着它，就连吃饭的时候也不肯放下。有一次，幼儿园组织春游，老师要求孩子们把玩具放在家里，可是小玲怎么也不肯，哭着闹着要带她的布娃娃一起去。最后，老师答应她可以把布娃娃放在她的书包里，小玲才破涕为笑，开开心心地跟着大家一起去春游了。春游结束后，小玲的布娃娃也沾满了泥土，但是小玲一点也不介意，依旧爱不释手。
Xiaoling received a delicate rag doll. The workmanship was exquisite, the colors bright, which made her love it very much. She slept with it every night, carried it wherever she went, and wouldn't put it down even during meals. Once, the kindergarten organized a spring outing. The teacher asked the children to leave their toys at home, but Xiaoling refused and cried, insisting on taking her rag doll. Finally, the teacher agreed that she could put the rag doll in her backpack, and Xiaoling stopped crying and happily went on the spring outing with everyone else. After the outing, Xiaoling's rag doll was dirty, but Xiaoling didn't mind and still loved it very much.
