Origin Story
It is said that Li Bai, the famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, wrote countless popular poems in his lifetime. His style was unrestrained, his imagination peculiar, and his style unique. He was known as the 'Poetry Immortal'. But he wasn't born this way. In his early years, he had followed predecessors and imitated the traces of the poetry style of previous dynasties. Once, while traveling in Chang'an, Li Bai saw a group of children playing happily. He saw that the children were innocent, free, and their way of playing was very different from that of adults. Li Bai suddenly realized that poetry creation should also be like these children, abandoning constraints and expressing themselves freely. From then on, Li Bai stopped deliberately imitating his predecessors and instead broke new ground, creating his own unique poetic style, which ultimately made him famous as the 'Poetry Immortal'.
