Legend has it that a long time ago, in a beautiful and fertile water village in southern China, there lived a wealthy man named Wang, who had two daughters: the elder named Wang Yuxiang and the younger named Wang Yulan. Wang Yuxiang was wise and dignified, Wang Yulan was gentle and kind. They had been close since childhood and were inseparable. In the blink of an eye, both daughters reached the age of marriage. Wang chose for them two young men who were both excellent in terms of stature and talent. The elder daughter Wang Yuxiang married the scholar Li, the younger daughter Wang Yulan married the wealthy son Zhang. Both couples were very much in love after their marriage, they lived happily and harmoniously together. One day, Wang invited a respected fortune teller to determine the marriage promises of his two daughters. The fortune teller looked at their horoscopes and said with a smile: “Both young ladies are destined to have good fortune, they will surely find good partners, live together forever and be united until old age! ” Wang was very happy to hear this, thinking: “Both of my daughters have found their dream partners, their spouses will surely live a happy and fulfilling life together.” From that day on, Wang loved his two daughters even more, and he also cared more about their life after marriage. The two daughters also treasured their marriage, they loved each other and built their own happy family together. They were happily married and lived a fulfilling life, just as the fortune teller had said, they lived together for a hundred years, grew old together, and lived a happy and fulfilling life.
