Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a farmer who worked hard but was short-sighted, only thinking about immediate benefits. When the village decided to build an irrigation canal, everyone needed to donate food. The farmer, however, was very stingy, donating only a small handful of rice, thinking it was enough. Other villagers generously donated a lot of food, and the canal was successfully completed, leading to a bountiful harvest. But the farmer, because of his stinginess, had no harvest because he hadn't foreseen the importance of the canal, only caring about immediate small gains, and he regretted it later.
