Origin Story
西汉初期，社会动荡不安，虽然国力有所恢复，但社会风气并未得到根本好转。贾谊忧心忡忡，上书汉文帝，指出虽然政权更迭，但社会陋习依旧，移风易俗、匡正民心的责任重大。他建议推行仁政，鼓励耕织，兴办教育，提倡节俭，以此来改变社会风气。汉文帝采纳了他的部分建议，推行了一些改革措施，使得社会风气有所好转。然而，由于根深蒂固的旧习惯难以在短时间内彻底改变，移风易俗的过程漫长而艰辛。
In the early Western Han Dynasty, society was turbulent and unstable. Although national strength had recovered somewhat, the social atmosphere had not fundamentally improved. Jia Yi was deeply worried and wrote to Emperor Wen of Han, pointing out that although the government had changed, social ills still existed, and the responsibility for changing customs and traditions and rectifying the social atmosphere was significant. He suggested implementing a benevolent government, encouraging farming and weaving, establishing educational institutions, and promoting thrift to change the social atmosphere. Emperor Wen of Han adopted some of his suggestions and implemented some reform measures, which led to some improvement in the social atmosphere. However, due to deep-rooted old habits that were difficult to change completely in a short period, the process of changing customs and traditions was long and arduous.
