话说唐朝贞观年间,有一位名叫李密的青年,他家境贫寒,却胸怀大志。一天,他外出游学,路过一处山谷,突然听到一阵呼救声。李密循声望去,只见一条大河涨水,一名妇人被困河中央,眼看就要被洪水卷走。李密毫不犹豫地跳入水中,奋力地向妇人游去,最终救出了妇人。然而,由于河水湍急,李密自己却精疲力尽,被洪水冲走了。人们后来都称赞李密的舍己救人精神,并将他的事迹流传至今。
During the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, there lived a young man named Li Mi, who was from a poor family but had high aspirations. One day, while he was traveling, he heard a cry for help in a valley. Li Mi followed the sound and saw a woman trapped in the middle of a rushing river, about to be swept away by the flood. Without hesitation, Li Mi jumped into the water and swam with all his might towards the woman, eventually saving her. However, due to the strong current, Li Mi himself became exhausted and was washed away by the flood. People later praised Li Mi's self-sacrificing spirit of saving others, and his story has been passed down to this day.
