During the Tang Dynasty, a swordsman named Li Bai was forced to hide his identity after being involved in a palace intrigue. Changing his name to Zhang San, he moved to a remote mountain village and lived as a recluse. He toiled in the fields by day and secretly practiced martial arts and wrote poetry at night. Villagers knew him only as a quiet farmer, unaware of his true identity.
