Origin Story
话说唐朝大文豪韩愈，育有一子韩符。韩符年少时顽劣不羁，不喜读书，只贪图玩乐。韩愈深感忧虑，特作诗一首，以警示儿子要立志高远，奋发图强，最终飞黄腾达。诗中写道：‘两家各生子，孩提巧相如，少长聚嬉戏，不殊同队鱼……三十骨骼成，乃一龙一猪，飞黄腾踏去，不能顾蟾蜍。’ 这首诗告诫韩符，人生如同赛跑，有的人像龙一样飞黄腾达，有的人像猪一样碌碌无为。要努力成为像龙一样的人，而非像猪一样的人。韩愈期望儿子能奋发有为，最终飞黄腾达，光宗耀祖。虽然韩符最终并未完全达到父亲的期望，但这首诗却成为后世激励人们奋发向上，追求成功的经典励志名篇。
It is said that the great Tang Dynasty writer Han Yu had a son named Han Fu. Han Fu was mischievous and unruly in his youth, disliking study and preferring to play. Han Yu was deeply worried and wrote a poem to admonish his son to set his sights high and strive for excellence, ultimately achieving great success. The poem reads, in part, 'Two families, each with a son, clever and similar in their childhood, playing together in youth and age, like a school of fish... At thirty, their skeletons are formed; one is a dragon, the other a pig. The dragon soars to high office, ignoring the pig.' This poem warns Han Fu that life is like a race, some people, like dragons, soar to great heights, others, like pigs, remain mediocre. Han Yu hoped that his son would become one of the dragons and achieve great success. Although Han Fu did not fully meet his father's expectations, this poem has become a classic inspirational work encouraging people to work hard and pursue success.
