你好！农历新年，也叫春节，是中国最重要的传统节日，通常在每年的1月底或2月初。
Nǐ hǎo！Nónglì xīnnián，yě jiào chūnjié，shì zhōngguó zuì zhòngyào de chuántǒng jiérì，tōngcháng zài měi nián de 1 yuè dǐ huò 2 yuè chū。
Hello! The Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important traditional festival in China, usually at the end of January or the beginning of February.

Tā shì zěnme qìngzhù de ne？
How is it celebrated?

人们会贴春联，放鞭炮，吃饺子，走亲访友，等等。
Rénmen huì tiē chūnlián，fàng biānpào，chī jiǎozi，zǒu qīn fǎng yǒu，děngděng。
People will paste Spring Festival couplets, set off firecrackers, eat dumplings, visit relatives and friends, and so on.

我们家会包饺子，寓意着来年财源滚滚。也会贴春联，祈求来年平安。
Wǒmen jiā huì bāo jiǎozi，yùyìzhe lái nián cáiyuán gǔngǔn。Yě huì tiē chūnlián，qíqiú lái nián píng'ān。
In our family, we make dumplings, which symbolize a prosperous new year. We also paste Spring Festival couplets, praying for peace in the coming year.

Are there any讲究(jiǎngjiu) about pasting Spring Festival couplets?

一般是贴在门上，要选择吉祥的文字，表达美好的愿望。
Yībān shì tiē zài mén shang，yào xuǎnzé jíxiáng de wénzi，biǎodá měihǎo de yuànwàng。
They are generally pasted on the door, and auspicious words are chosen to express good wishes.
