不堪一击 incapable of withstanding a single blow
Explanation
Unbearable a blow; weak and easily defeated; untenable arguments
Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a mighty kingdom boasting an impenetrable fortress, its walls soaring high and its soldiers renowned for their bravery. However, the new commander, consumed by luxury and indolence, neglected his duties. The soldiers lacked training, their weapons were outdated, and the fortifications were crumbling. When an enemy army finally attacked, the commander, blinded by arrogance, led his ill-prepared forces to meet the enemy. The enemy army, however, proved far stronger than anticipated and the kingdom fell with little resistance. This is a perfect example of “incapable of withstanding a single blow”.
