Overcrowding leads to problems
Explanation
It means that there are so many people that the available space is no longer sufficient, leading to chaos and inconvenience.
Origin Story
It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an was one of the most prosperous cities in the world. During major festivals, people from all over the country flocked to Chang'an, creating a lively atmosphere. However, even Chang'an could not accommodate such a large influx of people. The streets were crowded, shoulder to shoulder, and it was difficult to move. Inns and restaurants were overcrowded, and it was difficult to find a bed. Many people slept on the streets, suffering greatly. Even worse, due to the crowded crowds, stampede incidents occurred, resulting in casualties. This is a true portrayal of overcrowding. While people enjoyed the prosperity of the dynasty, they also deeply understood the various inconveniences and hidden dangers brought about by a large population.
