During the Warring States period, a swordsman named Jing Ke, with a fervent patriotic heart, set out to assassinate the King of Qin to save the people from the turmoil. Knowing the extreme danger and potential death, he readily accepted the mission and embarked on the journey to Qin. Before departing, he bid farewell to his close friend, leaving behind a spirited poem, "The wind howls, Yi Shui is cold; a valiant man departs, never to return." This poem became a timeless classic and a symbol for countless patriotic heroes. Though Jing Ke's assassination attempt failed, his brave act remains forever etched in history, an example for future generations. For his country, he offered his life; his spirit is worthy of eternal study and inheritance.
